My Journey from Delhi to Vrindavan: The Story of Vikas Krishnatrey and His Devotion to Shri Radha Rani
Radhe Radhe! Jai Shri Radha Rani! ๐๐ธ
My name is Vikas Krishnatrey. Today, I consider myself truly blessed that, by the grace of Shri Radha Rani, I left Delhi and came to Vrindavan, where I found a new identity as a Brajwasi.
This is not merely the story of moving from one city to another. It is the story of a change in my life, my heart, my faith, and my purpose. It is a journey from the corporate world of Delhi to the spiritual streets of Braj, where devotion to Shri Radha Rani gradually became the centre of my life.
My Early Life in Meerut and 19 Years in Delhi
I was born in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, where I completed my school and college education. After completing my studies, I moved to Delhi and devoted 19 years of my life to the corporate world.
I had a job, earned money, and was able to meet the needs of everyday life. From the outside, everything seemed fine. Yet, somewhere within me, I felt that something was missing.
Despite spending so many years in Delhi, I could not find the inner peace I was searching for. Life continued with its responsibilities, work, and daily routine, but the heart seemed to be looking for something deeper.
I did not know then that Shri Radha Rani had a different path planned for me.
The Turning Point: The COVID-19 Lockdown
Then came the COVID-19 lockdown, a period that affected lives and livelihoods in many ways. Like many others, I also experienced financial difficulties during that time.
But looking back, I feel that this difficult period became a turning point in my life. By the grace of Shri Radha Rani, I received the opportunity to live in Braj.
At that time, I could not fully understand how deeply this change would affect me. I only knew that I had arrived in a place that gradually began to feel like home.
Perhaps this was where the real story of my life began.
Finding a Deep Connection with the Streets of Braj
As I began walking through the narrow lanes of Braj, I never felt that I was in an unfamiliar place. Instead, I experienced a strange sense of belonging, as if I had shared a connection with these streets for a very long time.
After spending 19 years in Delhi, I found a kind of warmth and belonging in the lanes of Braj that I had struggled to find before.
The atmosphere of Vrindavan, its spiritual traditions, the dust of Braj, and the remembrance of Shri Radha Rani gradually began to touch my heart in a special way.
It felt as though my heart had finally found a place where it could rest.
How Devotion to Shri Radha Rani Became the Centre of My Life
By the grace of Shri Radha Rani, I began writing and singing bhajans in her devotion.
The same heart that had searched for peace for years in Delhi began experiencing a different kind of calmness through the dust of Braj and the remembrance of Shri Ji’s name.
My connection with Shri Radha Rani became more than a religious practice. It became a personal feeling of love, gratitude, and surrender.
Whenever I remember Shri Ji, I feel that there are emotions that words cannot fully express. Sometimes, simply remembering her name brings tears to my eyes.
Over time, this devotion also gave rise to a new thought in my heart: could I dedicate my life not only to remembering Shri Radha Rani but also to serving the people of the land she holds so dear?
The Inspiration Behind Vrindavan Kunj Gali Sewa Trust
One day, an idea took root in my heart: to dedicate my life to the service of the people of Braj.
With this feeling of devotion and service, Vrindavan Kunj Gali Sewa Trust came into being.
My life now became connected not only with devotion to Shri Radha Rani but also with serving the people of Braj.
Whether it is supporting the education of children in need, providing food to hungry people, or helping a Brajwasi facing difficult circumstances, I began receiving opportunities to participate in acts of seva by the grace of Shri Ji.
For me, seva is not separate from devotion. It is one of the ways in which I try to express my gratitude for the blessings I have received.
The purpose is simple: to extend a helping hand to those who need support and to serve the community of Braj with sincerity and compassion.
Serving the People of Braj Through Education, Food, and Compassion
Through Vrindavan Kunj Gali Sewa Trust, the spirit of seva finds expression in different ways.
Supporting the Education of Children
Every child deserves the opportunity to study, learn, and build a brighter future. However, some families face financial difficulties that make it challenging to meet their children’s educational needs.
Supporting children’s education is an important way to help create opportunities for the next generation.
Providing Food to Those in Need
Food is a basic human necessity, and offering food to someone who is hungry is a meaningful act of compassion.
Through food distribution and related seva activities, the intention is to support people who need assistance and bring a little relief into their lives.
Helping Needy Brajwasis
There are people who face difficult circumstances and need support, encouragement, or assistance with their everyday needs.
Helping such individuals is another expression of the service that inspires the trust’s work.
For me, every opportunity to serve is a reminder that the grace of Shri Radha Rani should inspire us to care for others.
When I Remember Shri Ji, Words Are Not Enough
Today, whenever I sit alone and remember Shri Ji, I often find myself unable to ask her for anything.
I simply remember her, and tears begin to flow from my eyes.
Even while writing this blog, remembering Shri Radha Rani has brought tears to my eyes.
I do not know the result of how many lifetimes of good deeds has given me the opportunity to live in Braj. I only know that I consider this opportunity a blessing from my beloved Kishori Ji.
My heart is filled with gratitude for the chance to live in this sacred land, remember her name, write and sing bhajans, and participate in the service of her beloved Brajwasis.
Sometimes, there are no words to express what the heart feels. There is only remembrance, gratitude, and the name of Shri Radha Rani.
My Prayer to My Beloved Kishori Ji
I believe that devotion to Shri Radha Rani is not limited to remembering her name. Serving the people of Braj, with humility and compassion, is also a beautiful expression of that devotion.
Today, when I sit in remembrance of Shri Ji, I have only one prayer to offer:
โO my beloved Kishori Ji! Please make me worthy of serving those in need, so that I never have to send a needy Brajwasi away disappointed. Whatever circumstances may arise in my life, may my devotion and spirit of seva never diminish. May the life of my family and me remain dedicated to your devotion and to serving your beloved people of Braj.โ
Shri Radha Rani, I remain grateful for the grace you have showered upon someone as unworthy as me. I have no words sufficient to thank you. All I have are tears in my eyes and your name in my heart.
I pray that I may continue walking on this path with humility, faith, and a sincere desire to serve.
From Delhi to Vrindavan: A Journey of Faith and Purpose
The journey from Delhi to Vrindavan was not simply a journey from one city to another.
It was a journey that changed my life, my heart, and my sense of purpose.
Delhi gave me years of professional experience and taught me many things about life. But in Braj, I found a deeper personal connection with devotion, belonging, and service.
By the grace of Shri Radha Rani, my life gradually became connected with bhajans, spiritual remembrance, and the service of the people of Braj through Vrindavan Kunj Gali Sewa Trust.
I do not claim to understand the full meaning of this journey. I only feel grateful that I was given the opportunity to experience it.
My hope is that I may continue serving with sincerity and that the spirit of devotion and compassion remains alive in my heart.
